Dreams Of Snakes By J. Foley
In North America Snakes are often seen as symbols of life, death and rebirth. It has been documented that people who are dying or who have lost a loved one often have dreams of snakes, at or near the time of death. For whatever reason, these dreams seem involved with the psychic awareness of the transition from this life to the next. In man and his dreams, perhaps the commonest dream symbol of transcendence is the snake, as represented by the therapeutic symbol of the Roman god of medicine Aeseulapius, which has survived to modern times as a sign of the medical profession.
If you start having numerous recurring dreams of snakes, it is time to look into what is causing them. This can be especially helpful in determining what your dreams mean and why you keep getting them. You will want to find out why the dreams are bothering you as soon as possible so that you can get on with your life. You will feel relieved when you know what your dreams mean.
One way to deal with recurring dreams of snakes is to try lucid dreaming. This is when you become conscious in your dream and are aware that you are dreaming. Some dreamm analysts believe that if you turn toward your pursuer aka snakes, your fear may go away. Seeing the dream through to the end is important in overcoming it. You will have to look at what your dreams of snakes represents in your dream, the entire context and determine how you felt about the snakes in the dream.
Also some say if you are having dreams of snakes you are struggling with some problem, relationship or challenge. You will want to get to the bottom of the dream and figure out what in your life you may be having trouble with and that way you won't have the dreams anymore. When you understand the dreams that you are having and why you are having them you can make your life a lot easier. If you are having trouble figuring out what your dreams mean on your own, then maybe you might want to have a dream interpreter help you to figure them out. But please remember above all, that dreams are only a guideline, not a definite prediction of what will happen.
